Our top 5 off-grid holiday spots in New South Wales

Spring is here and we’ve already started daydreaming about what adventures the warmer weather may have in store for us this year! If you’re like us and you are looking to get away for a few days then this is the blog for you – Our top 5 off-grid holiday spots in New South Wales.

We’re a furniture and homewares brand based in Sydney and current COVID restrictions mean we are limited to travel within New South Wales at the moment. So with summer on the horizon, we are starting to look for summer escapes a little closer to home.

Why go off-grid on holiday in 2020?

Think outside adventures, stunning sunsets and star gazing nights – these spots will give you a welcome change of scenery and offer enough fresh air to blow away any lockdown blues.

But why go the extra mile and go off-grid?

Going off-grid is the perfect chance for you to unplug from the lockdown life we’ve all been living lately. Take a break from the news, step away from social media and go out and find some adventure (socially distanced of course).

All the places we’ve included on our Top 5 list are eco friendly, sustainably run homes so you get to go away on an adventure and still be kind to the planet!

This tiny home is owned by Unyoked, a company who thinks there is too much concrete and too many commitments in the world already! And what’s their solution to concrete jungles you ask? Well, they suggest everyone should go for a wander in the woods!

Sound good? Well, this tiny home on wheels will be perfect for you! It’s buried between the mountains and hills of the Southern Highlands.

With a fire pit, gas stove and a solar panel to keep you warm and well-fed, this tiny home may be a bit more off-grid than other homes but it’s the perfect way to escape from the city and reconnect with nature.
